Pokhara Premier League (PPL) Analysis

Playing in the lap of Himalayas is every players dream and Pokhara Premier League gave this opportunity to not only the Nepalese players but also the foreign players. Starting from October 24, this tournament ended with a thrilling final game between Pokhara Paltans and Chitwan Rhinos on November 6. Pokhara Paltans, led by Sarad Vesawkar, becomes the winner of the tournament of the highest cash prize in Nepal. Total 6 teams were participated in this tournament.

Findings
Foreign players have a great impact in such leagues in Nepal. Talking about the Nepalese players, Dependra Singh Airee was the highest run getter and Karan KC was the highest wicket taker. Hari Shankar Shah, Bhim Sharki impressed with their batting and Rasid Khan, Bipin Khatri with their bowling. Fielding was not so good overall the tournament. If they get to play more such leagues regularly, they can replace some national players from the team.

Future

Until our CAN remains suspended, we should rely on such private sectors leagues. It only matters whether the players are getting benefit from such leagues. Of course! Yes. But the organizers should also think the future of Nepal cricket apart from their business. They should maintain the ground and upgrade it yearly. Organizers admitted that they will come with more suprises next season. Franchises should take care about the emerging talents off the tournament so that they do good in the upcoming tournaments.

Tournament ended successfully and hope we get something more from the next season.

The Disappearance of the Universe

From the time when we start understanding, we do research and give many possibilities and theories about the Universe but knowing truly what it really always remains a mystery and we die without being able to reveal that mystery.
